Daddy's Birthday & Universal Studio

We went to universal studio on 27 & 28 Jan 2011... we booked a package with Resort World... 2 days 1 night stay plus Universal Studio at $388.... we stayed at Festive Hotel... The hotel was quite spacious and there's a stair to climb up for kids to sleep there... but too bad, kaylia cant sleep there alone cos we were afraid she will roll down...

Early morning... I wake up to cook Kaylia's porridge and we went for breakfast then we set off... we reach Festive Hotel at about 11am... then we collect our tickets and we set off to Universal Studio... we were quite disappointed cos the park was quite small.... maybe becos we went to Osaka Universal Studio before so we find it small in Singapore... In Osaka, we cant even complete all the rides.... but here, we can go round and went to hotel to check in at 3pm... and came back and we still have time to complete everything... of cos for roller coaster we cant take becos of kaylia... but the rest we had completed everything... Oh ya, one incident happen during queuing up for the Donkey show... an indian lady asked me "can i carry ur daughter?" i was too stunned to react... and yong asked her y u wan to carry her? then i think the lady's mum or sister stop her from doing so... then we quickly turned away and try not to look at her... we were thinking wait u carry kaylia and run away HOW!! mummy will cry like mad lor... haha....

After universal studio, we went for dinner at Michael Hotel... we had spagetti for dinner... can u imagine 2 spagetti cost $58... luckily we have some voucher to offset... haha... then kaylia so turn off... she shit!! so we hurry bring her back to change and bathe... guess wat, her whole dress was stained... and we had a great mess cleaning her and washing her dress.... after a long bathe. we went for a walk... and we went to coffee bean to buy a cake for daddy... but we didnt managed to eat it tat night.... cos we 3 fall asleep at abt 11pm... haha... too tired for anything....

the next morning, we went for our breakfast at 8am.... the breakfast variety wasnt alot... so we only ate awhile and went to room to change to bring kaylia for a morning swim... we met a korean gal 11 yrs old, she cameby and say kaylia is so cute... can i play with her? so i ask her to come down and play.... but kaylia simply enjoying herself in the water.... kicking and splashing the water.... after some time, we went back to room and bathe kaylia... then let her have a short nap... after tat, we check out and went to Vivo City for lunch... initially wanted to shop there... but yong was asked to go back to CP to work... so no choice... i bring kaylia back myself in her pram...

Kaylia started walking!

To my surprise, kaylia started walking without support on CNY eve.. which is 1 Feb 2011... This happen at my mum's place... just before we started to eat our reunion dinner... kaylia was standing at the TV console... then my mum asked her to walk over... and she walk over without support... we were all very surprised... Cos we don't expect her to start walking so fast..

actually she was being ji fa one... cos she saw a boy who is younger than her and he can walk already... so kaylia tried n tried... recently, she kept holding on to our finger and pull us up... cos she wanted us to hold her and walk here and there.... she keep on practising... hopefully, some weeks later, she can walk longer and balance herself well... keep it up, my gal... :)

Mummy stop breastfeeding

Mummy officially stop breastfeeding on 6 Jan 2011... Kaylia's last drank breastmilk was on 8 Jan 2011... Initially i am not used to stop breastfeeding... but i have already cut down to pump once... and found it to be no point cos milk supply reduce by alot... and its not enough for her anymore... so y not just stop... felt a bit guilty to stop... but tried to comfort myself by telling myself kaylia is more than one year old already... so i dun feel so guilty by thinking so... hopefully my effort of breastfeeding her for a year plus didnt go to waste and kaylia will be a healthy baby upon growing up... :)

Naughty Kaylia

Mummy had been too busy to update ur blog for u.... kaylia had been naughty though... always wanted to catch people's attention... and when a stranger caught her attention, she will act shy and hide inside mummy or daddy...

Still remember got once, mummy & daddy brought me to Junction8, in long john silver, when mummy & daddy was not attentive, i pull down the whole tray of other people's left over food on the floor... everybody was looking at me... ~see how naughty i am~

Mummy came and beat my hand... but i m too young to understand...!!

recently, ah ma taught me how to blow my lip for sound and vibration... i learn it in a couple of days.. mummy was so amazed by me cos mummy still dunno how to do it...

i m going to be one year old soon... mummy had been busy preparing a birthday party for me!!

Mummy was not able to capture a good photo of me recently... cos i am too active and all the photos were blurred... but i just like to move about but mummy is always angry with me!!

Kaylia's visit at Cath & Max's Place

Kaylia is progressing... she can crawl very fast already... she had been crawling for weeks.. n mummy is only free now to update... she can crawl in Aug 2010 which she is 8 mths old at then... i realise she really progress when she see older baby or toddler that is already crawling or walking... when we brought her to gymboree, she suddenly able to sit on her own without any support... then when we brought her to little ozone... she starts to crawl faster and faster... tink its really good to bring her to mix around with kids more!!

She is very agressive... tat day when we brought her to Cath's place to visit her and her new born baby... she has a friend who brought a gal who is 20 mths old... kaylia is so agressive and wanted to touch and hug the gal... then she made the gal cry very bitterly... oh my god... i feel so paisey abt it... Kaylia's Progress

Kaylia is progressing well... she is able to flip, crawl backwards & sit stably.. All these started when she is 7 mths old... now she can take her own pacifier & put it into her mouth, if she put the wrong direction, she knows how to turn it back... good gal... but her temper very bad nowadays... she knows how to reject things she dun like... she will yell loudly now.... but on the other hand, she's very cute... tis stage is very fun to play wif.... i believe i will miss her tis age one day...

Recently beginning to feed her porridge... initially she likes... cos something new for her... but as usual, after sometimes, she dun wan to open her mouth again... ~haiz~ mummy been thinking of new food new recipe for her... but its so diff.... cos she so stubborn at times... nvm, i shall try harder...

11 Aug 2010, Wednesday, we took kaylia, my parents & my brother to JB to take family potrait... at least its much cheaper there... cost us abt RM400... think i will consider to bring kaylia there for her baby photoshoot when she turn 1 yr old... i feel their environment not bad, the studio is quite nice as well... shall keep tat in consideration....

Kaylia fell from the Bed!

2 weeks ago, kaylia finally learnt how to flip... having fun in flipping here n there... some babies can flip at abt 4mths +... but kaylia only learnt how to flip in 6mths... but she learnt how to flip from tummy to front at abt 4 mths +... so now when she learnt the technique of flipping, she knows how to flip thru n fro... ok lah... at least easier for us in a way... dun need to scare she dunno how to turn back.... but being actively flipping can cause real trouble oso... yesterday, kaylia roll down from my mum's bed... my mum just left her for less than a min and she roll down... she cried very loudly.... i was in another room pumping... quickly wear my clothes n ran out... i hug her... she cried n cried... it muz be really painful.. cos usually she dun cry so long... n even when cut nails, my mum cut her finger, she dun cry oso... so i guess it muz be really painful... we dunno where she hurt herself... but my mum saw her on the floor, her stomach was facing down.... we hope she never knock on the head... i feel my heart so painful... i coax her and she finally stop crying... then i sayang her and say not painful anymore, she tink tink n cried very loudly again... poor kaylia... but after tat, she fall asleep after crying... then when she wakes up, everything was normal again... she can eat, sleep, play again... tink she forgotten abt her fall... Kaylia... remember 30 JUNE 2010! Kaylia fell from bed!

$2 Trip to Universal Studio Sentosa

Yesterday we brought kaylia to Universal Studio for a walk... since there's a open park entry at $2 for the month of Jun 2010.... so we decided to bring kaylia there... we drive to vivo and took the monorail in... Kaylia was so excited seeing the crowd and the lightings of universal studio.... we were quite surprised tat going in to Universal Studio got a feeling of going abroad like tat... she look here n there... took some photos for her... we were only there for abt near to 2 hrs... as there was nothing much as there was no rides...

Kaylia's First Food

Kaylia started her first semi solid food on 15 June 2010.. meaning to say... kaylia is 6 months old... initially she doesnt know how to eat n mess up her whole face & mouth... now she's getting better after 2 weeks of food... she had tried carrot, pumpkin, brocolli, potato, califlower, banana, pear and apple... her favourite food is pumpkin and apple... she dun like carrot and potato... she always give a yucky face for tat... but i wont like her choose food so must still give her although she dun like... will be trying her on spinach, peach and avocado soon...

Kaylia's Fist Baby Spa & First Swim

Kaylia first baby spa was on 2 Apr 2010 at my mum's place... it was in a big bathtub using her neck float... she abit not used to the float and she was crying after sometime... but it was quite fun for her...

Kaylia first swim was on 15 Jun 2010... she wear her little bee costume... she was so cute... keke... initially i put her legs in the pool... she's still ok... so i let her sit in her float... she felt so funny... at first she was ok... but after abt 5mins... she started to cry... tink the water is too cold for her... cos it was raining before tat... so after so much preparation, she only swam for 15mins... nvm... we shall try next time again...
